Great quick & easy salad. From Esselstyn's Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease
I used this recipe to bake banana bread (makes 2 loaves) and then when we moved to Central America I started using plantains. My husband prefers the plantain to the bananas.
Got this recipe out of "Taste Of Home". There are several items that could be substituted to reduce the calories, if you wanted to.
For a quick breakfast or pick me up, It has a good source of protien and carbs. (Sorry it didn't come through earlier. I didn't know I had to make out another list of amounts of ingrediants. )
The fruit in this cookie gives it a sweet taste with out sugar. If you want it sweeter you could add a few Tbls of honey. Great to use for breakfast or on the run.
A tasty high fibre muffin with a bit of sweetness with raisins and chocolate chips added. May eliminate the raisins or chocolate chips and add nuts, dates, coconut or whatever you please. Olive oil can be substituted for canola oil.
interesting way to use ground turkey found the recipe in womans day but could not find all the ingredients here so had to improvise.
This salad is a refreshingly cool treat of spinach, strawberries, raspberries, nuts and a light dressing that is sure to please any palate.
