Cabbage Soup without tomatos. Came up with this cabbag soup because I don't like the tomato base cabbage soup diet. After doing the diet for one week, the soup is the only part I wanted to stay on.
This is my absolutely FAVORITE salad! My family often will serve it as the main course because it is so filling and SO good!
Makes 1 1/2 lb loaf. Servings will vary depending on how thickly you slice the bread.
I buy a whole rotisserie chicken at the grocery store for this recipe and use only the dark meat for the soup. Use the breast for salads & sandwiches. 1 cup serving has 138 mg sodium
Throw all of the canned ingredients into crockpot. Add spices and 2 cups of water. Heat on low 4-5 hours.
This is a great appetizer for guests or a snack that keeps you going. Its great during Jewish Holidays for the non-meat eaters.
OMG! I did it...this tastes peppery but yummy. I never cooked with lentils before!
