This is a refreshing, light sangria that will be the hit of your party. The recipe came from "Sandra Lee" with TV Food Network. This was served at a party last night and every woman there asked for the recipe. I have to admit that I probably never would have made this had I not tasted it first. It is a must try recipe and will definitely be served at my next pool party.
Quick, easy and great for cook-outs, pot-luck dinners or a picnic. I make my own dressing so I can control the fat. My husband loves this pasta salad. The dressing makes it special.
i take the leftovers from hearty breakfast recipe the next morning and make this for the family
Every year my church has a chili cook off and I decided to enter in a recipe but I never made chili before. I knew what I liked and I knew what I didn't like so I gave it a try. I didn't win but I should did win with my family. I get asked to make it all the time and it is so simple.
this soup is created in a crock pot on low simmer for 6 hours then you can eat for soup or add protein for stew and blend to use as gravy it is so delicious
Excellent source of Vitamins A and C.
Cool and refreshing summer soup that you can prepare a day ahead of time. Actual time spent preparing is way less than 25 minutes. Use the down time to read, do some crunches, whatever!
For a change of pace, substitute basil for the mint or substitute 3 cups peaches, 1 cup strawberries for the cantalope.
(I forgot to save a sprig of mint for garnish so I plunked a sprig of cilantro on top for the recipe photo)
Fabulous chilled summer soup with complex flavors. Make ahead of time for an impressive looking and tasting company dish
Kathy Hutchings gave me this recipe. Originally out of The Edmonton Journal.
This is a very versatile, healthy and filling salad that can be eaten warm or cold. You can make it simple or elaborate. You can add or take away, ingredients that is.
