I tweaked a different recipe that I found on here, and they turned out really good.
I topped them with margarine and apple sauce.. Quite delicious and easy.
Next I am going to try them with fat free cream cheese and fruit.
Delicious and moist, these smooth textured muffins will be a breakfast delight for any muffin lover. At 330 calories per muffin, it is a dieter's delight too.
I have tried them all I think and with a few tweeks this is definitely the fluffiest, most tasty recipe I can come up with!!!
This is a recent recipe that my mom gave me. I modified by adding ground chicken instead of ground beef. I also added nonfat chicken broth instead of just water. This is an easy recipe to modify to your family's liking.
Egg muffins with ground turkey, green chilies and non fat cheese.
This oatmeal is sweet, nutty and nutritious. I just started putting things in. It makes two servings. Which works out to be about a heaping 3/4 C.
We had mushrooms and potatoes that needed to be eaten so pair those with some frozen sausage, onions, egg whites and cheese and you have a very tasty dinner, er breakfast : )
I added some nutmeg and cinnamon to my apples that I cooked in the microwave. I also left the skins on for the vitamins. I used skim milk since we don't drink soy milk, I guess that's why my calories are a bit higher. I also decided to cook mine in ramekins so each family member could have their own special treat.
I got this recipe out of the Eat Up Slim Down book from Prevention Magazine. It calls for 1 t of coriander or ground cardamom, but I don't use either. I also use FF yogurt instead of Low Fat. I used 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 regular flour to make it more healthy, too.
We had extra peppers from the garden that were really small and a few potatoes so my husband desided I should make this. I then got a few one more pepper from the guy up the street and viola...Yum! The chicken broth gives a little bit of flavor and allows for less fat. This makes 4 servings of 1 cup each.
A yummy recipe for the health-conscious individual...great for breakfast or on-the-go snacks!
I had a crustless zucchini pie a long time ago, and while I don't have the recipe anymore, I do remember parts of it. This is a "replication" from my faulty memory.
This came out WONDERFUL - light and fluffy, but sooooo satisfying!
Filling, but a little bland. Play with some seasons and let me know what's nummy!
