Great summer salad. Use Dreamfields low carb elbow macaroni for low glycemic salad.
This salad is PERFECT to make when you've already got the grill out. It is good warm straight off the grill or cold for lunches the next day. It is SO yummy.
Serve this fresh take on potato salad with your favorite burgers, hot dogs or grilled chicken.
This recipe is easy and delicious! The calories are a little less than indicated because you don't eat the marinade. I found this recipe on the flat belly diet and just made a few changes.
It takes 12hrs to marinate.
I used to love the sweet and sour cucumbers I would get at the southern bbq's when I was a kid and I found a similar recipe in a magazine a while back so I modified it. This is great with a Morning Star Spicy Black Bean burger(not in the nutritional values).
We hadn't had homemade burgers in a while. Ground turkey helps make this healthy and seasonings make it taste good. Enjoy it with all sorts of toppings because it is a basic recipe.
I finally decided to buy some Miracle Whip and looking at the nutrition on the Light, it wasn't too bad. I figured it is probably a good ingredient for coleslaw and maybe some tuna recipes also. So here goes my first one. :)
We came from a picnic birthday party and I decided to make my own fruit salad, but added some Fiber-sure for extra measure. My husband even gave me compliments on it.
I first made this with yellow squash for my husband's work lunch and they raved about it. We then made it at home and tried it with broccoli. It's quick and delicious. If you eat it with a side salad it makes a nice meal for dinner. Enjoy!
My mom used to make this awesome potato salad for my dad all the time. When I find similar ones elsewhere it usually has celery in it which my kids, husband and I don't like. My mom never made it with celery either. It makes me think of family get togethers and BBQs. I hope you will enjoy it, too..
This is a very easy and delicious recipe. One serving is about 2 Tablespoons and it looks like this makes about 2 cups depending on the size of your avocados, so I think this makes about 16 servings. You can also use jarred jalapenos, but I would then change the salsa, lemon/lime juice amounts, too. So, that's going to change the nutrition. The jarred jalapenos have vinegar which will help with reducing the browning of the avocados. Makes about 2 3/4 C.
My husband bought a pork butt on sale at the store and so I went searching for recipes. I found some crock pot ones that sounded interesting. One for adding rootbeer and BBQ sauce and one for adding BBQ sauce and onions. Both sounded interesting, so I somewhat combined them and made it my own.
I found someone else's cornbread recipe that used some great ideas and then tweated it a bit. Next time I will try to use egg substitute if I can to bring the calories down. Enjoy!
I have been wanting to experiment with fruited chicken salads. This is not a grand slam, but it's alright. It's got a crunch and the sweet and salty that I wanted, but I just can't put my finger on what it needs. Maybe cranberries instead of grapes
My name is Springduke and I love cooking. I make this all the time for birthday party, dinner and pinic. I'm telling you all my freinds and family love it. It is so easy to make. You came use any kind of meat you like to for this dish.
