I adapted this from The Duchess's Raspberry Bars from the Castle Marne B&B in Denver, Colorado.
This is a modified recipe of Elanaspantry.com. She uses Oranges (boiled) and Agave syrup. She has a great site & cookbook.
Preheat oven to 300*.
In medium bowl combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well with wire whisk. Set aside.
In a large bowl with an electric mixer blend sugars at medium speed. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix at medium speed until just blended. Do Not Overmix.
Add the flour mixture and chocolate chips, and blend at low speed until just mixed. Do Not Overmix.
Drop by rounded TBSP onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 22- 24 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer cookies immediately to a cool surface with a spatula.

Great low carb, low sugar dessert. Would also be good with pineapples, bananas and coconut instead of berries.
Pillsbury Reduced Sugar Brownies replacing eggs with egg whites and oil with sweet potato.
Blueberry pie is blueberry pie, right? Not much you can do to change it. Well, it ain't necessarily so. We discovered that simmering the blueberries in wine before using them enhances their flavor; they don't taste like wine, just more like themselves.
We always use frozen blueberries for pie, considering the price and intensely seasonal availability of fresh. We find simmering the frozen berries in wine before using them allows them to thaw and release some of their liquid; the liquid then evaporates as the berries gently simmer. This prevents the finished pie from being watery, in addition to giving it great flavor.
