HIGH IN BOTH PROTEIN AND FIBER!
I got the basics of this recipe from my food planner here on Spark, but I altered it 1) to feed my family, and 2) for the ingredients I had in the house.
Rich tasting, restaurant style parmigiana with lo fat and great protein. New Family fav - great for guest dinner parties too!
A family favorite I often request on Father's Day. No noodles lowers the carb count a bit.
This is a different variation of pizza using cauliflower for the crust. Note: the type of ingredients you top your pizza off with will change the nutritional information. Also the crust is great just by itself as a breadstick.
Chicken breast with kidney beans, tomatoes and corn inside and cornbread topped with cheese on top!
An all in one dish of dirty rice, ground turkey, polish kielbasa and kidney beans. Very filling and tasty.
I tweaked this recipe from one I read on FamilyFun's website. It's easy and healthy, and a great dinner for busy nights. I serve it over brown rice (which is not included in the nutritional infortmation).
Really easy recipe, and the dough goes right into the fridge and can be stored for 2-3 weeks. Wheat flour can be substituted for the white.
These tacos are SO delicious, and the avocado sauce is a great, super light and citrus-y alternative to guacamole. This recipe is fantastic served with a super simple green salad and a glass of slimmed-down sangria.
A wonderful, simple Carribean dish. Serve over Coconut Rice (I have a recipe for that, too!) with collard greens in winter or alongside avocado and mango slices in summer.
This recipe comes from the Moosewood Collective's "Simple Suppers" cook book.
