An easy meal for one person. It can also be made without the cheese - it doesn't really affect the taste all that much. You can use low sodium ham instead of canadian bacon or add onions or regular bacon if desired.
Both boneless and bone-in pork chops will work for this, but be sure to use chops that are on the thicker side – about an inch thick. You can skip browning the chops first, but they taste world's better if you do not skip that step. Also, the red pepper flakes do not add spicyness, but they very much add to the flavor, so don't be afraid of them!
Hollowed out kaiser rolls filled with cream cheese, diced ham, and pickles. Best when heated and served warm - the outside gets nice and crunchy and the inside is warm and cheesy! (NOTE: Since this has pickles and ham steak, if you're watching sodium this probably is not the dish for you).
Easy beef stroganoff made with ground beef. Serve over egg noodles, rice, or toast (carb choice not included in nutritional data)
Ground turkey burgers with mushroom and onion and spinach
My mother's classic stroganoff with an upgrade in beef and a great mix of herbs and spices.
This is a delicious verison of fried chicken without the grease and the fat of just frying.
