Spaetzle Recipes

This dish is delicious! It's a great substitute for chili on a cool fall or winter day. You can substitute another brand of egg noodles if you prefer, but the german noodles are best, I think.

A great recipe I picked up while living in Vienna, Austria. It goes great with Schnitzel or a piece of grilled chicken if you're trying to be healthier.

This is a family fav so I set up the nutrition based on my portions. Veggies are your choice, we like pea, green beans or brocolli

We always loved the texture of German spaetzle in lieu of noodles, so I like to make chicken soup using this pasta. It is available in specialty stores or in the regular grocery store with the specialty foods. Use the long noodle-like pieces instead of the droplets.
You can make this with a fresh fryer chicken but it takes much more time. I use a grocery store roasted chicken, along with the juices to speed this process up.
