This is a quick and extremely flavorful recipe.
While I recognize this isn't extremely low in calories if served with a healthy portion of steamed red potatoes or vegetables its still makes a nice meal. You can use boneless skinless chicken if you like, but it truly doesn't hold the flavor.
While in CA this past January I developed a taste for Good Earth herbal tea. Unfortunately it is not easy to find where I live in upstate NY, so while waiting for a shipment to arrive from Amazon I came up with something close.
This concoction has a sweetness that helps make my sweet tooth cravings shut up and go away for a while. It's also good in the morning as something to put in a mug and microwave.
It would probably be awesome iced too, but it's too cold at the moment for me to want to try that! LOL
Great source of potassium and other important nutrients, also a really great way to get some of your fruits and veggies in.
I have this for breakfast at least once a week, after a good cardio work out. I juice the carrots, strawberries, and apple so without the pulp the calories may be a bit less...but watch the carbs.

A fruity smoothie mix to use as drinks or to use to make popsicles...I use frozen fruit unless I have a fresh banana and then I will use that instead of frozen
