This recipe originally came from a website but I made several substitutions. The original recipe did not call for powdered sugar, but since I used extra-dark cocoa, this needed just an extra bit of sweetness. They still are not sweet cookies. I think the batter was quite a bit thinner than it should have been as these did not rise at all. Next time I may cut down the milk added.

Gluten-free, healthy fats, higher fiber, sugar and fat reduced by half. Medium oxalate.
Beans that are soaked for 24 hours and pressure-cooked are lower in oxalate. Chickpeas and Garbanzos are the beans lowest in oxalate.
Replaced half the fat with applesauce, using the gluten-free Birthday Cake Blondie Mix from The Safe + Fair Food Company.
This is a lovely moist brownie for those with wheat or gluten intolerance, as it's made without flour.
This is a delicious alternative to actual pasta, tastes fabulous and all the carbs come from the vegetables! You can barely notice the difference between this and real spaghetti and meat sauce!
