My family loves italian food and unfortunately Chicken Parm is so loaded with calories. So we tried this version and loved it. I hope you do too!
This is a rich tasting slow cooker recipe that is wonderful served with a salad and garlic or artisan bread.
THIS IS A GOOD, SIMPLE COMFORT FOOD THAT MY GRAND KIDS LOVE AND ASK FOR WHENEVER THEY SPEND THE NIGHT!
Mix all ingredients, except spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese. Shape into a loaf and place in a loaf pan. Top with spaghetti sauce. Bake at 350 for 45minutes to 1 hour. Removed from oven and top with mozzarella cheese, put back in oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
this is just the base, you can add different veggies, like red bell peppers, mushrooms, fresh or dry herbs like rosemary, oregano, parsley, basil, etc.

This is a very tasty version,and healthy, I made this the other day,grandson is a very picky eater,he couldn't tell it from the hamburger version.
This recipe is fairly bland for the sake of my family. It can be modified by adding italian seasonings and/or red pepper flakes to the meat or sauce without changing the calories much.
