This sauce comes from our Italian friend, Valeria. When she visited us she made it as part of the lasagna she made for us. It is the easiest and best pasta sauce I have tried.

My daughter found this recipe. I plan to skinny it up by using fat free cheeses and low fat turkey sausage.
Blend frozen broccoli In a large bowl mix blended broccoli, liquid eggs, 1 cup of shredded cheese, oregano, salt, black pepper, & garlic powder. Lightly spray baking pan with olive oil. Place broccoli mixture on large baking pan Mold broccoli mixture into flat pizza crust Place in oven at 400 degrees for 40 minutes Once crust looks formed and done take out of oven and top with remaining ingredients Place back in oven for 15 minutes on 400 degrees. Enjoy!
This is a hearty sauce for over pasta or eaten alone as stew. Also good for pizza. Low fat, vegitarian, gluten free
I found this crockpot recipe in the food section of our local paper and it was a big hit at our house. I think you could thicken the sauce a bit with cornstarch and it would be great over rice.
