It's a little high-cal for dinner but with a few substitution to milk and cheese, can be made healthier.

I have been craving baked goods since I went gluten-free. I found this recipe and it had great reviews so I had to try it myself. They are delicious. Just a tiny residual mouth-feel from the almond meal, but otherwise, you wouldn't be able to tell they don't have any grain in there. My family has very distinct ideas of what Shepherd's Pie is, so I couldn't re-use that name - instead, here's my slightly healthier take on it. (It's still comfort food, just slightly twisted).
This was a rather easy recipe I "made". I have a 2 year old daughter and I always have to find ways to make sure she is getting food from every food group. I also have pre-diabetes and my mother has type 2 diabetes so we have to be careful with what we eat.
