My delicious version of guacamole derived from several great recipes and my last trip to Mexico.
I was introduced to this while in Romania a few years ago. It's absolutely delicious!
I am doing the beach body in four weeks workout and diet plan that fitness magazine presented. This is one of their recipes. I am just adding this to count my daily calories, because I can only put in food from my meal plan on their site.
Natural coconut oil is a medium-length fatty acid, but not the kind your doctor warned you about, which are long-length artery-clogging, health destroying and weight-increasing fatty acids, says Bruce Fife, C.N., N.D. When taken as a supplement, used in cooking, or applied directly to the skin, coconut oil has been found to (1) promote weight loss; (2) increase metabolism; (3) help protect against heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and many other degenerative diseases; (4) prevent premature aging of the skin; (5) strengthen the immune system; and (6) improve digestion. You can use this as a dip or as a spread for bread, a topping for pasta or vegetables, or a salad dressing. This dressing is especially good over my Healthy Thyroid Salad. If used as part of a coconut diet, this quantity will satisfy 3.5 tablespoons of coconut oil daily.
This would be even healthier if the bread was wholegrain or wholewheat and we skipped the cheese. However, today it was deli-style - and so good.
Modified the recipe from the blog "Oh She Glows"
It was cold and snowy today so I needed soup. This is an old favorite and I decided the calories were worth it. But it's not that bad as long as you limit your serving size! I added millet for fiber
This is the dressing used on Applebee's oriental chicken salad. Tastes just like it.
Simplest recipe ever. I don't often have time to make homemade soup, but there are few things better than a filling, warm soup on a cold day.
One can tomato soup, two servings brown rice. Cook the rice, add the soup, ENJOY!
A yummy soup that isn't cream based! Could probably leave out the bacon if you really wanted to.
