Best salad I've ever had!!! If you have a hard time getting your protein like I do then this is a great way to sneak it in!
This is a very good low calorie salad. If you add other vegetable you will have to add thse calories.
This is a refreshing salad, low calorie and filling. Sometimes I use it as a dessert.
1 medium shallot, peeled
1 rounded tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons agave syrup or 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 cups slaw salad mix or shredded cabbage
Celery salt
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
This was just what I had left in the fridge but was quick, tasty and pretty satisfying.
I discovered a nice blend of spinach with bok choy and baby swiss chard at Kroger's which became the base of this delicious salad. The sweetness of the apples and oranges mixes with the tanginess of the balsamic vinaigrette and lemon juice. Very flavorful and pleasing taste, great portable lunch when you're on-the-go.
This lo-cal dessert or snack is only 79 calories per serving. A tropical blend of Asian pear, papaya, mango and fresh blackberries. The lemon juice helps preserve it and the dash of greek yogurt gives it a little creaminess.
