Homemade beef stew slowly cooked in a crockpot for 8 hours.
I added this so that I could adjust the nutrition and make this into a sort of regular, staple-like thing in my kitchen. I’m newly vegetarian, so this is how I satisfy my stew-and-spice needs. I sprout whatever I can before adding (black beans on deck), and the heat from the curry and chili is a vice for me.
This is our favorite chili recipe. We love the not-so-common flavors of the cocoa and cinnamon. Friends who have tried it love it as well. All ingredients can be adjusted to your taste, but I would not advise increasing the cinnamon unless you are doubling the recipe. Serve with your favorite chili toppings. My favorite is a bowl topped with shredded sharp cheddar and some chopped avocado,
