An amazing twist, super yummy and not nearly as bad for you :P
Basic Mashed Potatoes, I just added them for my tracking, and thought I might as well share the recipe.
Deloris posted this recipe in the cooking team, so I thought I'd go ahead and enter it into the tracker so everyone could have the nutritional info. I did substitute 1 cup of the sugar for Splenda and egg beaters for the 2 eggs. Makes about 5 dozen.
This is a recipe I found on cooking light and went a step further by cutting 1/2 the oil with applesauce. Turned out great!
Great whole berry cranberry jelly alternative. It is sweet and spicy and will go with sweet or savory dishes. It was a big hit at Thanksgiving Enjoy!
Place crust dough in pie pan then lightly press in to pan. Chop turkey, fennel, onion, garlic, fennel, carrots, and mix them in the stock. I used the turkey juices or stock, use gravy if you have left overs. You can ad a little corn starch to help thicken it. Then top with stuffing. Make sure it is moistened with broth or stock. It is a nice twist. Bake until golden brown on 350F.
A simple quinoa side, perfect paired with cooked spinach and Rosemary Baked Chicken.
This goes with Steph2003's Southern Cornbread Dressing. I don't actually put giblets in it.
