Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I used sugar free Hershey chocolate syrup instead of the chips . easier and less messy. Also used sf caramel syrup.
I'd rather have a "Healthy Choice" or "Creamsicle" 100 calorie bar than this, not appetizing nor satisfying enough.
This is not a banana split; just coated bananas that a re frozen. Would love to see a low cal/lowfat version of a real banana split.
we do a similar recipe at home. We role a banana in a little chocolate sauce, then in bran flakes. Gets some fiber into my little ones!
Id remake recipe as w/o processed sugar. Cut caramel sauce -use agave syrup w/cocoa powder. 1. Cherries processed to smooth, add to agave syrup, dip bananas on a stick in cherry sauce, roll in grd almonds, place on a wax paper on cookie sheet. Freeze for cool snack for later.
Not my idea of a banana split. I make a real banana split for for about 150 calories. I use 1/2 banana, slice it into two long parts. I take 1/2 cup ice milk and divide it into two small scoops; put it between the banana slices. Top one scoop with 1 tsp sf choc. syrup and other w/ a mashed strawberr
I make sugar free pudding and then take ther frozen half bananana on a stick and dip it...ummmm! You can do this with any sugar free pudding...
