I made a few changes: brushed apples with butter, used honey instead of sugar, added some n and raisins, tossed on some oatmeal (mixed with butter). I susually bput this in the oven, but the microwave was a great change. Thx!
I have been making this for myself when I crave something sweet! I do not even add sugar or splenda. I love it!
Love this! But do use brown sugar unless u really adore Splenda!
I enjoyed this. I'll try Stevia, but I'm not sure it will taste as good. I added some chopped walnuts. Makes a great low carb dessert.
I also peeled my apple and used pure cane sugar, very littel and used pumpkin pie spice. It was wonderful. I topped it with some oatmeal and pecans for a full breakfast. Very nice.
So good and easy, will be doing this freuqently. Happen ti have low fat cool whip in the fridge, even better with a little bit of that added
What do you do if you can't use sugar substitutes? They give me migraines. I cut sugar out completely and my stomach shrinks, but I need some sugar. I never did before but now at 55yrs. I need some. HELP!
I had some small yellow apples that were getting soft. I was dubious about the recipie but figured what the heck. This was AWESOME! Some fat free cool whip and it would be decadent.
Very yummy with nutmeg and cinammin with a bit of brown sugar to sweeten. I added a small scoop of icecream. it was beautiful. xx
I used some Brown Sugar Splenda blend which was quite good.
I used brown sugar & topped it off with fat free whip cream - what a great treat!!! Tasted so similar to apple pie - I will be making this more often!
I tried it...pretty good...but i think next time i will use the splenda brown sugar...i will let you know next time..
This is a great recipe. I added a serving of low-fat whip cream to mine and it was beyond delicious. I really didn't even miss the crust. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.
Very good- not as much i expected but for being so quick and easy, and nice and warm it does hit the sweet spot. I added an extra packet of "sugar" too but i used sweet'n'low. But over all very good. Will make it again sometime.
pretty great. i think it needed a bit more m sugar so i added another packet of splenda.
Made this just now! I peeled my apple and used brown sugar instead ( I don't use splenda). It was super good, easy, and FAST! Thanks!
PEELED GREEN apples, splenda brown sugar & cinnamon makes it MUCH better! ;)
I tryed today for kids but had no slenda so used brown sugar. They really enjoyed and I have already passed recipe to friends. Definitly would make again.
Okay as is, but was better with splenda brown sugar. Peeling the apples made it more apple-pie like.
This was a great substiute to the real thing except no enough sugar for me and I think the apples should be peeled first. But All in All really really good.
My husband and I tried this one last night. We both enjoyed it. It is a fast snack to make and with such a low calorie count, how can you go wrong?
Wonderful taste!!! I only had one apple in my house but when I made it for the kids and me...Well, we needed to go to get more apples! It is a veryyyyyyyyyy fast, tasty alternative to the yummy apple pie some of us cherish. Adding fat free cool whip would add another level of wonderful to it!
I haven't made this with apples but I've done it with peaches.... fresh or canned with fat free whipped cream on top. YUMMY!
this is quite tasty and a dollop of fat free cook whip makes it good
