Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I don’t eat sugar
This is a good alternative to buying expensive sports drinks which have too much sodium for me. Thanks.
It's good, but I don't know how effective as an energy drink beyond the sugar.
Why cool aid? I would not use sugar either. I would use regular grape juice and maybe add a non-calorie sweetner.
Why sugar?
But we’re not supposed to drink our calories
There is enough sugar in the grape juice. I would add stevia instead and also add some BCAAs to enhance this.
I am making it with stevia....why should it leave you with 66 calories /cup???
Too many calories for a healthy drink, but not bad!
This is not intended to be a low calorie beverage. It is intended to be a healthier alternative to a sports drink like Gatorade. In that regard, it works, and looks like it is cheaper and probaqbly tastes better, too!
Read the related article. This is meant to be a sports drink for athletes who need it (as an alternative to Powerade or Gatorade). http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/nutrit

I skipped the sugar and used cran-grape from Costco. Taste great
Could I use splenda or stevia in place of sugar? is there any value to using real sugar other than taste?
