Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Splenda sweetens well, it tastes good, but doesn't have the mouth feel of sugar.
like the idea but dont like artifical sugars
me and my mom made this on a hot summer day and used bulk spelenda and it was amazing you can't even taste the sugar. totally a good recipe.
i tried this with 2 packets of slenda and lemon juice into a water bottle so i can take it to school and have something sweet that isnt alot of calories!!!
If you don't like fake sugar, you could try Stevia (derived from the Stevia leaf). Truvia is a readily available brand name. I find it to be sweeter than Splenda so cut down the amound and sweeten to taste.
If only there was a substitute for the carbs in the lemon juice! But this is great . . .
It's always tricky to use a sugar substitute in recipes, as sometimes this can make them bitter. I'll be anxious to try this! Thank you.
