Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I made some pretty big cookies, but they are delicious... and i substituted apple sauce for half of the butter...and decreased the sugar by a few table spoons.
These are great! I halved the recipe and used only 1/2 cup brown sugar (no white sugar), dropped by the leveled tablespoonful and it came out to 36 cookies. These are SO yummy! The perfect treat :)
made these tonight, halved the recipe, didn't want that many cookies. These are delish! The only modification I made was that I added 1.5 tbsp. of ground flax seed for a little more nutrition. My kids loved them!
SOOOOO YUMMMMY!!!! They were easy to make - my 4 year old daughter did most of it by herself - and they were delicious! Used Splenda instead of sugar otherwise followed the recipe - not sure we got 80 cookies but we got 3 cookies sheets full - plenty for everyone :)
These were good! I used splenda and brown sugar splenda in place of sugars and used 1/2 real butter and 1/2 light butter. I also added 1/2 c walnuts to half the batch. Yum!
I enjoy these have made some changes to lower the fat and calories, i use butter flavored crisco and applesauce and splenda. they satisfy the sweet urge. and i love the dark chocolate.. i also add nuts and raisins at times for a change of pace.
I did half applesauce, half butter and egg substitute. The consistency was probably chewier than the original, but still good. I also omitted the white sugar-didn't try it the regular way, but I thought it was great without that sugar. All of those substitutions work and I got 72 cookies. Good!
Absolutely delicious!! I just used 1 cup of granulated sugar instead of the 1 cup brown and 1/2 granulated sugar. I also added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. One of the best cookies I've ever made.
Really great! I used Promise with a tablespoon of butter to make the 1/2 pound. I also used 1/2 sugar and 1/2 Splenda for the white sugar. Also I added 3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa to make them chocolate chocolaate chip oatmeal (and still be lo-cal). My teenage boys loved them! Thanks!
I just made these and got 100 cookies with this; I used approx. 1/2 tsp per cookie. They are very good and very filling; they're about the size of a golf ball. I'd call that pretty good. I used Baker's Sugar, the calories are same as reg. sugar. Definately will make again.
These are so wonderful! I made them for my kids and their freinds for an after-school snack and none of them had a clue that they were low calorie!
One more thing to consider... check out the serving size. I cut the recipe in half, but I didn't get 40 cookies. Mine weren't even that big... so does that mean in order to get the 66 calorie cookie, we need to make them the size of a gum drop? Just wondering.
these are my new favorite cookie! i subbed white sugar with splenda, butter with i can't believe it's not and used one less egg yolk and they were still decadent..you'd never know they were reduced fat! thank you!
These are great. I did Use half the butter but I also used Vegan Butter, half the fat and less calories and just better for you. I did add 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce,Splenda 1/2 cup, 1/2 brown sugar, added 2 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 c. powdered milk. 1/2 c. raisins 67 calories. 50 cookies.
