Nutrition & Calorie Comments

disclaimer-I had to use garlic powder and salt, so it wasn't quite the same.
My boyfriend didn't like these at all. Too mushy and he isn't a bean eater. I thought they were good, but I can't imagine eating them on a bun-too mushy. I will add more spices next time.
I loved it! Easy and tasty, perfect for me! I just swap the bread crumbs for quick oats as it was simply what I had on hands and I got the surprise to see that the calories were lower (58 per serving). Thank you so much, Ilovemypeaches!
amazing! my carnivore boy friend loved them too! with some cumin mixed in and avocado on top. I had no problem having them stick together. but you must drain all that sodium filled sludge first before you mash them. Thanks for this recipe!
I used fiber one for bread crumbs, it gave it a sweet and spicy taste! Loved it!!
This was awesome! I added some garlic salt and onion powder and baked it at 350 for 20 minutes.
Good, easy lunch. I substituted oatmeal for the bread crumbs and baked on parchment paper in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes like some others suggested. They turned out great! I may try adding some ground beef next time for a protein powerhouse!
It was a great recipe. I didn't add the cayenne, because I figured the chili powder was enough. It was so easy and quick! A great low calorie dinner.
So easy, and I love that you can bake them rather than adding fat by sauteing in oil. My husband is a huge fan -- we will make these again! Thanks for sharing! :)
This was surprisingly good. Even my "must have meat" husband liked it. I didn't have Chili powder so I added an grilled chicken and herb spice I had on hand, garlic powder and a very little bit of cayenne pepper. I used 2 slices of 35 calorie Aunt Millies bread that I shredded up too. Very tasty.
Love the chili flavour. With 2 tsp oil for browning, and crackers instead of breadcrumbs, I calculated 130 calories each. Still, quite worth it. I had no problems with the texture after rinsing the beans well and mashing them into a paste.
yum... even my meat-eating husband liked these! I ran out of bread crumbs, so I used a little crushed up saltine crackers, probably a little more than 1/4 cup, but it worked out!
These were incredibly easy to prepare, inexpensive to shop for, they held their shape while grilling, and were very tasty! My calorie count was just a little higher than listed here at 114 per burger, but still a really great dinner solution. Also made a great leftover lunch today!
Made this recipe was very good. It ended up being 162 calories for 4 servings.
I added 1 tbsp olive oil to brown in.
This is better than the spicy black bean burger from Chili's, and has fewer calories. Amazing recipe!
Only 73.1 calories??!?!?! I am definitely going to try this with the good reviews its gotten.. Thanks for sharing!
