Love it. Used sugar free koolaid (all i had on hand) and it came out good. Thanks for suggesting freezing bananas at all times, I'm SO going to freeze them now!
Never tried flavored water. Would add some lowfat yogurt to make it more creamy though.
I make this pretty much every day except I add low-fat yogurt. I'm going to try it your way! Although instead of letting the frozen fruit thaw for five minutes I rinse it under warm water to get the outer frost off.
I never made a smoothie before, but I have a freezer ful of frozen berries from the U Pick, so I'm giving this recipe a go. Sounds like a good way to get a sweet pick-me-up without the calories and fat of a dessert!
