Quick and easy. I didn't have fresh broccoli, so I used frozen, but I microwaved it until almost done and added it when I put the meat back in. I also added mushrooms, chopped green onions and zucchini. I didn't use the cornstarch and we didn't want rice. It was very good without the added carbs
