Egg Free Cake Recipes

I made up this mug cake today when I wanted to try making something chocolately for dessert out of bisquick. The result was a light and fluffy chocolate cake without the density of other mug cakes, and as a bonus it can be made in a normal sized mug. It's also very yummy when topped with fresh berries, chocolate sauce, caramel, or ice cream and chocolate chips can be added to the batter if you don't want to eat it plain.

I believe this used to be called Whacky Cake, thought it was low cal but don't think so given the calculation, however in moderation...in other words don't eat the entire cake in one sitting.

I took a recipe from Vegan with a Vengance and corrupted it :) to create this most amazing (non-vegan) carrot cake. you can sub out a bit of the flour for whole wheat but I find the unbleached works best for this recipe.

I adapted this recipe and it turned out really good. It is best with Cool Whip so I added that in but you can have it without as well!

Delicious and only 150 calories a slice! Use Vegan ingredients for Vegan cake!

Dairy Free and Egg Free. This recipe from my childhood came in handy when my son was born with allergies to dairy, egg and peanut. There are many variations of this cake in existence. It is easy to experiment with it's ingredients to come up with different versions, such as, vanilla cake, banana cake, etc. It's fun and easy to make with kids. My mom taught this recipe to me about 38 years ago.

Yummy, moist cake for special occasions, or just when you need a bit of chocolate.
