Waffles made with protein powder (my waffle maker makes four square waffles. The recipe will make seven squares, one square is a serving)
This smoothie is high in protien, fiber, and folic acid. It's also loaded with antioxidants!
This is a yummy cookie to have for breakfast when on the Daniel Fast - or any time!
I'm a green smoothie addict. I love experimenting with different greens & fruit blends. I usually call 1 serving 16oz. And it's enough to fill me until lunch.
I invented these after trying to get away from the whilte flour in our diet. I have successfully made them with all wheat flour w/o the white.....my family absolutely loves these. They are light and fluffy. This morning I even added some sour-dough starter to the batter in place of the milk...YUM!
been tinkering with some recipes, this one is okay. I used chocolate protein powder, because its what I have and I threw in the raisins because I LOVE chocolate covered raisins.....these would be good for snack, pre-post workout or even dessert, warmed w/ some whipped cream, YUM!
I adapted the recipe from the clean eating magazine, substituted the agave for the sucanat (the original calls for 1/3 cup sucanat) These are not overly sweet, but have a great citrus flavor.....
I've been tinkering with granola bars for a while now, and this is by far the best. The calorie count is high for a snack, but it works well as a meal replacement for breakfast, say before your work out. It has high protein and fiber and sufficient fat. I think they will be perfect for my hubby and his buddy on their crazy antler shed hunts! I plan on bringing them to the gym for after my workouts.
I just halved the sugar, replaced the shortening with applesauce, replaced all the white flour with whole wheat and it tastes great! I topped mine before baking with some currants and sunflower seeds, the loaves look like they belong in a bakery window.
I tinkered with a few recipes to come up with this one, should satisfy that sweet tooth!
