I used Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix and plain yogurt to renovate this recipe :)
Directions
Place the salad greens into a salad bowl, and sprinkle with dried cranberries, walnuts, mandarin orange sections, gorgonzola cheese, and avocado chunks. Drizzle the salad with the dressing, toss, and serve.
I make this from leftover pot roast when I don't have any leftover carrots and potatoes.
Summertime grilling is great - grilled chicken and grilled romaine give a great twist to this salad!!
I used leftover friend chicken, removing skin & bones. To reduce calories, fat & cholesterol, use baked or broiled chicken.
Made using juice and pork left over from rib dinner. I start with 2 packs of country style pork ribs, making BBQ ribs one night and making soup for next night.
