My Mom use to make this for me growing up and I finally got the recpie from her!! This dish is wonderful if paired with rice.
I accidentally purchased a tin of crushed tomatoes in place of diced, but the chili still turned out tasty!
This recipe has the consistency closer to spaghetti sauce, and I bet it would be delicious over pasta. If you'd prefer a chunkier texture, use diced tomato in place of crushed.
This is a delicious treat if you have a little extra time. I make this and freeze the left over ravioli.
These are simple to make, delicious and filling ! You can cut back the calories by using low fat swiss cheese or skipping the mayo.

My first attempt at converting a recipe for Reuben Casserole to low carb/high protein. This recipe is too high in sodium and fats. Future attempts will try to deal with those issues. For certain obvious reasons, no rye or pumpernickel because of the carb counts.
Our variation of stuffed peppers. No one in our family ever actually ate the pepper, so I turned into a casserole.
This recipe is pretty spicy. If you don't like a lot of heat, don't use the "hot' type of tomatoes or seasoning.
