This is a quick way to use up leftovers. You can substitute lots of veggies that are on hand, and add spices as you wish. Using leftover, previously cooked ingredients makes it a fast meal.

Adapted from the applessauce oatmeal muffin recipe I saw here on spark recipes. I wondered what it would be like if I used the leftover granaola we had and we have just at one cup....so I tossed it in rather than the oatmeal. Also right off the bat, the applesauce SHOULD have been 1/2 cup but I messed up and did a whole cup and these figures account for that.
This is a great breakfast smoothie. You can substitute any protein powder.
