So tasty, yet so low in calories and high in protein! My husband's favorite breakfast.
This is a recipe my mom used to make in mini-tart form for appetizers with a cream cheese pastry crust. I wanted something lower carb for a breakfast or with a salad for lunch or dinner.
High in potassium, vitamin c and other anti-oxidants, this no sugar-added fruit cocktail is not only good for you but tastes great!
The addition of smoked tofu and a little liquid smoke gives this recipe a classic taste.

when eggnog gets marked down, this is a great way to enjoy it! Use the water to get the batter the right consistency and keep the heat relatively low when you cook them so they cook all the way through.
This is a super yummy breakfast when I get bored of eating egg whites all of the time. It's perfect for low-cal, low-carb diet needs and especially good when combined with whole wheat toast or oatmeal pancakes!
I have this several times a week! It's a great way to get in some fruits first thing, as I often forget later in the day. It satiates you for the morning. I actually use regular special k cereal, but I couldn't find it listed. Also, as soon as I see bananas that are starting to darken, I cut them in half and put them in the freezer. If you use a cookie sheet/pan then they don't get stuck together. I use frozen banana's as it makes the smoothie colder and frothier. Enjoy!
