My grandmother made this every year for the holidays - hope I remembered it right!
This is a recipe from Allrecipes.com that I made some modifications to. Omitted green pepper, celery and salt. Changed bread crumbs to Cheerios, used 1 cup half and half with 2 cups water instead of 3 cups milk., used red potatoes instead of regular potatoes, and changed a few measures on the ingredients.
These are gluten free, naturally sweetened and nutritionally dense muffins with a light crunch from sunflower, chia and flax seeds and a nutty note from cooked quinoa. If you don't like the banana in the recipe, use 1 cup of pure pumpkin puree instead - it will be a delicious switch-up!
this pepermint cheesecake says "Christmas" at the first sight and first bite. No one would even gues that it is low fat .
