Substitute sliced sausage links for the meat or leave the meat out. Makes a good marinara. Use in lasagna, layer between noodles with mozzarella cheese and sauce. Salude!
I used to make this Chicken, Spinach and Three Cheese Lasagna as Manicotti. But manicotti are a pain to make and take a ton more time. So a couple months ago when I made this I decided that I didn't want to deal with the manicotti shells any more so I used lasagna noodles instead. It tastes the same and is a lot quicker to make. So I've been using lasagna noodles ever since =)
I modified my Beans and Greens to make just one serving without going overboard. I drained and rinsed the beans, so I believe the sodium should be much lower than stated.
