The original recipe called for 28 ounces of pork & beans. But the calorie amount was so high that I decided to only use half the beans and then cut down a little on the bbq sauce accordingly. With the beans, it's a way to get more fiber into your sandwich.

This is a good nutty treat with just enough sweetness. If you decide to use your own measurements just be careful with the peanuts because they are high in fat! Peanuts also are great for boosting energy and makes a great office snack for the desk or a great traveling snack for the kids.
