Low Carb Recipes (Most Popular)
Its a delicious recipe picked up from the web site and taste much better than any other aloo gobi's plus it has less calories too plus less carbs.
For those like me who have an insatiable sweet tooth, dieting can be the worse. i found myself dying for something dessertish that wouldn't totally blow the diet. I am on a low carb, low fat diet, and most low fat desserts were loaded with carbs, and vice versa. I came up with this fudgy, chocolatey cake that I don't feel too guilty about. It's about 150 calories, 4g total fat (.8 Saturated), 6.2 g protein and 25.6 g carbs per serving. I haven't yet tried using all soy flour, but if it worked (it may not hold together, but only way to know is try) it would greatly reduce the carb count and up the protein count. Also, I played around with using artificial sweeteners instead of sugar. The Splenda Baking Blend made very little difference in nutrition info. Using Truvia (which i have never used) would really bring sugar, fat, and carb count down, but I have not yet tried it to see how it would taste. If anyone does, let me know. Enjoy!
This combination may sound disgusting, but it is not. The cranberry juice and the buttermilk combine to make a thick tangy sweet drink that gives you a full feeling and an excellent pick-up with a very good nutritional footprint.
This makes a lunch or dinner salad with the protein of your choice and dressed with oil and/or lemon. I used shrimp. It has most of the good stuff and none of the bad stuff on my food plan for allergy detox.
