For the quiche filling:
5 egg yolks
1 whole egg
1-2 cups of double/heavy cream (depending on size/depth of quiche dish used)
Salt
Separate the five egg yolks and mix together with the whole egg. Add at least half a pint of cream and mix together. The total cream you need depends on the size and depth of the quiche dish you use. More cream can be added and mixed in situ.
Add any other flavouring ingredients to your dish that you tolerate in small amounts – for example, a finely chopped, sweated leek, a rasher of fried bacon, etc. Add these to the quiche dish and pour the eggs and cream over. Top up with extra cream if required, making sure to mix in.
Bake in the oven for thirty minutes on 200 degrees celsius. If you tolerate a small amount of mild cheese, grate some and add ten minutes before the end of the cooking time.
If you don’t tolerate any flavouring ingredients at all, the quiche can be converted to a custard and can be sweetened to taste.
There was a little place in Burlington VT called the 5Spice Cafe. That is where Gerard (my husband and the creator of this recipe) first bit into something with the 5Spice and it’s been a favorite flavor of his ever since. It's great on pork, chicken, flank steaks and in dumplings. A little goes a long way so make sure you are using the right measurements. We are measuring in tsp (Teaspoons) here. You can always put it in, but you can’t take it out. We use it here to replicate a little chicken-noodle stir fry love for the HCG and low cal kids out there.

This is not a budget dish, nor easy to prepare but it is delicious. Gerard (the creator of this dish) hates any lobster base or broth that is commercially for sale. So he makes his own using most of the lobster body for broth and the meat for the dish. You'll get more bang for your lobster buck that way as well. Real paella has sausage and chicken as well as other fish and shellfish in it. This is another way to have a fulfilling meal while in phase 2 of the hCG Diet and not have to skimp on flavor.

This is a great recipe to make at the beginning of the week. Divide it up into 6 servings and you have lunch for the entire week. Great on the go food if where ever you are going has a microwave. ;-)

This is a super quick dish to whip up when you don't have much time. It is also great to take with you when there is no microwave available to heat your food up. I like to put this in a cooler packed on ice and take it with me to Disneyland. For more recipes and information on the HCG Diet, visit http://www.hellojody.com
