My friends have made this dip many times and I finally got the recipe from them. I decided to make my own and man it's good.
Next time I make this my 4 year old son asked me to tone it down since I have white pepper and spicy brown mustard in it. It is REALLY good, though! I left out the tomato sauce in another batch and made meatballs. It made about meatballs. If you have 4 meatballs per serving or about 2.26 oz you get 251.3 cal, 19.6 fat, 1.2 carbs, .1 fiber, and 17.1 protein.
I bought some Pumpkin Spice bagels at Aldi and wanted some yummy cream cheese to accompany them so I made my own. YUMMY!!
These baked jalapeno poppers really hit the spot an d you can make them spicy if you want to by adding some chopped jalapenos or jarred juice. I use my fresh grown peppers and jarred 50% less fat bacon along with 1/3 less fat cream cheese and 2% milk shredded cheese so these are lower in fat and calories than a lot of other varieties. You will have many different sized peppers so I just give 2 oz as a serving size. My mix made a total of about 27 oz with peppers and mix which yields about 13.5 servings of 2 oz. each.
A great creamy cocoa protein snack! It's not low fat, but sometimes at night I am low on my fat and protein counts, so this snack helps.
My husband and I saw this recipe on T.V. years ago for this chicken salad a lady was trying to figure out from her relative from long ago. Turns out it was chicken, eggs, mayo, salt, pepper and the mystery ingredient...garlic powder. I grill my chicken in the skillet with the seasonings and add some to the mix as well. This recipe makes 10 servings of 1/2 C each.
I saw a bacon tomato crustless quiche on Kraft website and got to thinking. My 5 yr. old daughter doesn't like bacon anymore, my 4 yr old son doesn't like tomatoes and I've been wanting to use spinach. So, here we are and YUM YUM YUM! Enjoy!
Use what ever fresh vegetables you have left in the fridge. Just about anything works.
A great low sodium, low carb soup that is quick and easy. Can double recipe to service more than 1.
YUM!! Tasty mushrooms, ground turkey and a great sauce alternative...try it!!
Grilled chicken breasts cooked in a light lemon sauce with roasted black olives, thyme and capers. Served with asparagus
