This is the topper adapted from Rachieloo's Broiled Tilapia Parmesan. I have entered just the topper ingredients and halfed the butter.
This a delicious, simple meal. To add an extra punch of flavor drizzle some parsley puree on the plate to dip the fish in. The parsley puree makes this dish refreshing.
I fell in love with the recipe after first trying it at a diner I used to work at and it was on the menu as a "healthy request". Once I stopped working there I started making it at home with a few lower-fat alternatives and a whole lot less butter.
Combine all ingredients. Serve as a wrap , sandwich or on top of fresh greens! Yummo! I also like it with 1/4 of the mayo and 1/4 of veginaise .
This is really delicious. Too bad I got a little over-creative and ruined my first batch with some red wine vinegar...don't do it! Leave the recipe as-is and it tastes great! A little high in sodium and cholesterol but also high in potassium and vitamins. The cholesterol is from the seafood, so at least it's the good kind!
This is a variation of the tuna mac my mom made when I was a kid. It's a comfort food for me.
These can be served as an appetizer or we like to have them as a main course with a side salad.
