This a sweet, chewy type bar. You can decrease the sugar by up to half and I have also made them using 1/2 c. vegetable oil and 1/2 c. peanut butter. A very flexible recipe.

saute onions 10 min, add garlic and chopped sage, saute 2 min more. Mix all ingredients in bowl, form 1.5 inch balls. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
This is a great grab and go food for those mornings where rushing is inevitable. Prepare the day before, heat up, and out the door you go! No need to skip breakfast.
