I first had this about 15 years ago. I first thought it was wayyy to rich and be too hard for me to recreate. My mom assured me that it was NOT hard at all, and that it is FOOL PROOF as long as I didn't overcook it. So I trusted her, made it, loved it. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, I serve this.

I wanted to show that my toaster oven was useful for more than just small warm-ups and toast. I tried a corn bread and I was very pleased with the results. Obviously, this can be done in a full size oven, but It worked well. Oh, and I used my Magic Bullet to make Oat flour. How cool is that?

Just a quick note to say thanks for the positive feedback about my recipe. Just a few tips about my recipe. I have a fan in my oven which allows me to reduce the temp. The temp in my recipes is about 10 degrees C. lower than in a conventional oven. That is about 25 degrees F. lower. This recipe makes a huge loaf of bread which is great plain, with your favorite spread or as french toast. See Challah French Toast.
Delicious, mild to moderately hot salsa. Good on chips, fresh veggies, baked potatoes, etc.
