start with onion and ground beef. saute.
add one jar of sauce and one cup of water.
in separate bowl. combine the ricotta cheese, 1.5 cup of mozzeralla and 2 tbsp of parmesean. mix well. fold in the egg and the parsley.
Start with one cup of the ragu/meat mixture on the bottom and start layering. Meat, noodle, cheese... again.

This is a variation of Betty Crocker's Chicken Paprika. I just decided to stick mine in a crock pot rather than on a stove and I used chicken base rather than liquid chicken broth.
Don't be put off by all the ingredients. It takes 10 minutes to prepare. The slow cooker allows it to be made ahead of time and eaten later in the day. It can also be made on the stove top in under 30 minutes.
