I make these ahead to pop in the toaster in the morning for the kids before school ..or when I need a quick snack, they freeze really well!
I love this, it's my guilty pleasure, and if you go easy on the cheese and butter it actually winds up being good for you as well as darn tasty. I know I'm weird for liking okra, but it's srsly replaced green beans in my diet. SO GOOD.
The good ol' classic from the back of the package. Mom and I would make these all the time!
A chocolate- and nut-butter cookie that is truly decadent with macadamia butter and nuts. The reason I call these "pawnbroker" cookies is the design of the nuts mimics the pawnbroker symbol, and rich, well, you know how expensive macadamias are! Recipe created with eggchef in mind b/c I know he loves chocolate and macadamia nuts!
So delicious! Uses processed sugar - can sub organic if needed or just omit the topping. Although then, these would not be "donut" muffins.
Recipe adapted from WonderTime magazine. Great for kids and adults.
A perfect dip for the peanut butter lover. The best part is - it is a single serving so you don't have to worry about the portion sizes. Serve with fruit, graham crackers or celery. Skippy Natural and Lowfat yogurt was used in the calculations.
If you're on a low carb diet and think you have to go without your pancakes...you'd be wrong! I've been making this recipe after I tinkered with and old one I had. With the addition of the Cinnamon and Nutmeg, it makes these such a delicious snack. Trust me when I say, it's a keeper!

They are a healthy snack in a cookie costume. You could dress these up with nuts, more raisins or brown sugar, but I liked them just like this. They were really filling.
This is a yummy on the go snack....I realize the fat content is a little high but keep in mind this is good fat (OMEGA FATTY ACIDS) The fat content in this recipe is from the nuts and is a much healthier type of fat...OMEGA FATTY ACIDS Help lower cholesterol and this recipe cholesterol FREE !

My mom made this for years, and I loved it as a kid. It comes out brownish because of the spices, is always super moist, and is DELICIOUS! This version calls for gluten-free flour, but regular flour may easily be substituted.
