This recipe was printed on the back of Lundberg Farms CA Brown Basmati Rice. It called for 1/2 t. coriander but we preferred it without. I just used the ground cumin and my DH and myself love it.

This is a GREAT fall side dish for Thanksgiving or any feast really. I made it again just last night with my deer steaks. Extra yummy and reheats well. I haven't braved the medieval version of this recipe yet, this is the modern.
My mom used to make this with 1 can of cream of mushroom soup added and bacon and ground beef... I was trying to keep it lower cal so I cut these out, but it's wonderful as part of a thanksgiving meal.
