Basic recipe. I usually add vanilla to this, but anything else like fruit or jam or nuts can kick it up a notch too. Nutrition calculated based on listed ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups carrots, cut into coins
2 ribs celery, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
4 cups low sodium chicken broth
1-28 oz. can no added salt whole tomatoes, drained
100 grams orecchiette pasta
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
A crunchy spicy alternative to chips. Have fun playing with the spices: add garlic, fresh basil, parsley, Italian spices, etc. Always taste it before you dehydrate: if it tastes good then it will only test better once you dehydrate it! Cooking time is dehydrator time.
