Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This is ok. I tend not to drink my calories so I gave it an ok.
This was great! If you add 1/8 avocado (adjusting calories and nutrients accordingly), it is creamier and even more satisfying. Thank you for this delicious recipe!
This is my first green smoothie. I must say I am impressed. I used a mixture of spinach, kale, chard and carrots. I got it at SAMs. Called Power Greens. I may cut back on the oh next time just because I can be sugar sensitive and never know when I will go into a coma. But all else this is great.
I must admit, I was skeptical to try this one... I was pleasantly surprised at how great it tastes. I added ice cubes to mine to make it nice and chilly. I think next time I'm going to add some flax seed as well. For added protein I would suggest adding greek yogurt or vanilla protein powder.
I like using a half cup of low-fat soy milk for a creamier texture.
Great. I drink many of my fruit & veggies. I start with a small handful of almonds for protein, grind them to powder. then added 1/4 C raisins for blood, 2T flaxseed for roughage, then comes the fun. Usually 2Cs of a combination of fruit and veggies. I try different combinations. GOOD
I tried this with a scoop of whey protein added to it. It was very good but not cold enough to be refreshing. Next time I'll try using frozen strawberries instead of fresh
Adding an orange instead of orange juice helps cut down on the sugar. :)
I was very skeptical, but it seemed so weird I had to try it! Plus, I'm recovering from a magnesium deficiency (spinach is a beautiful thing) and am tired of salads, almonds, et al. I made a half recipe as a snack and added some natural peanut butter for protein & healthy fat.
I don't like orange or orange juice but would think this works fine with apple or pineapple juice as well (I just have to check the calorie content). Can't wait to try this!
I love this! To cut back a few calories I only used .5 C of OJ and a whole small frozen banana (I always have these sliced and on hand for my protein smoothies), and 100 grams of frozen peaches as I had no strawberries. I then added ice cubes (until desired consistency). Healthy Icee!
very good. I used vanilla soymilk instead of the OJ, then added protein powder to make this a complete meal.
Does anyone know if it tastes just as good with a bit of protein powder mixed in?
This is so delicious! I accidently created a makeover recipe of it on here when I tried to figure out my nutritional info. The only thing I did differently to this great recipe was to add 2 tbsp of ground flaxseed. Yummy!
pretty good- didn't put OJ in becuase I didn't have nay but it was still good. Will try with OJ next time. I also added navy bean puree (extra protein) and some ground flax seed. It mostly taste like banana's. can't wait to try it with OJ next
Yummy! I made this with 1 cup spinach and 1 cup kale, trop 50 orange juice for fewer calories and sugar, and 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries instead of just strawberries. The color kinda made me leary but it was yummy! Thanks!
