I am new to cooking, I didn't know what to do about the amount of spices or that bay leaves just simmer and then are removed. But I made it work and it was good. Next time I will know how to season it better. Also since I need more protein, I threw some pre-cooked seasoned ground beef to my bowl.
Tried this for dinner last night, my husband and I both loved it, I couldn't believe how good it tasted and how few calories! Will definitely make again.
