Taken from November 2010 Cosmopolitan. The original recipe calls for shrimp, but my father is allergic so I adapted it with beef to account for his needs.
This is a delicious Morrocan dish, which can be served with cous cous or rice. If you use lamb shoulder, the meat may need extra time in the oven to be tender. Leg meat tends to take a little less time. The cooking times below reflect the use of leg meat.
Deutscher Chili has a medium heat to it and a strong hint of the wonderful German Bier Sausage flavor! Serve hot with croutons, bacon bits, smoked cheddar, chopped parsely or cilantro (optional) and sour cream garnishes!
