My recipe is altered a bit from the original recipe, omitting the sugar and instead replacing it with the healthy alternative of Agave Nectar, which is also suitable for diabetics and better for you than "sugar substitutes".
Nutritional information based on 4 TB agave nectar (1TB per serving).

In India Shrimps are called "Prawns"----and the best among these are the Grey striped Tiger Prawns.Thes are the tastiest huge Prawns that I buy----expensive but taste wonderful when first marinated in hot, pungent Spices and then blanketed in layers of Fragrant Rice and steamed----a veritable Feast for all the five senses!!!The aroma would entice even the most picky eater to take more than a single helping!!!

I have loved Chai since I first tasted it, but it was always a guilty pleasure- too much sugar, too much sweets... but now- its not an everyday treat still, but this recipe for chai tastes better than any packet, pouch, or ready-mixed blend, and even better than most chais at cafes, IMHO. and at just about 100 Calories, using honey and not sugar, it is a treat I don't have to feel guilty about.
Mildly spiced, creamy (without the cream) hearty main dish soup in the Indian style.
Add more veggies and less rice to lower the carbs and increase the fiber. Cooks in a pressure cooker in 5-6 minutes.
This is my favourite summer fruit salad recipe; the key to making it "Indian" is a spice called "Chaat Masala" - it's a subtle salty type of spice that is used in snack-type dishes and has the property of helping with digestion. You can find it at your local South Asian grocery store.
My husband is not a fan of salmon, but this is his favorite dish. This is a spicy dish. Croquettes are traditionally fried, but I bake mine.
