Kids love popsicles just about any time of year and when they're healthy like these you're glad they do.
These mini meat loaves are the perfect size for toddlers. The onion is very finely chopped, the chili sauce adds some zing, and the ground seitan reduces the amount of fat in the dish. Another bonus: Mini meat loaves take much less time to bake than regular meat loaves.
This is a homemade chocolate syrup for making flavored milk. Good as a dessert topping too.
This saves a lot of money & is a lot healthier than prepared "just add water" mixes. It is so simple to make ahead, you will never go back to those boxed mixes!! I haven't!!
Use your imagination. You can really use any combination of fruit puree and jello to make this work.
I started making this "salad" in the early '80s as a child. It was even included in my mom's company's employee cookbook in '84 under the title "Janeal's Favorite Salad."
This version substitutes less-fat, less-sugar ingredients but keeps its yummy flavor. I hope you enjoy it!

I love my grandson; hearing how he eats what are called 'chicken nuggets' in other venues, I'm dismayed, to say the very least. But...I'm not gonna force MY views on him. I just give him the choice of "Vegan" vs "NOT Vegan," and hope I'm making an impact upon his rationale. Be that as it may, as I said, the commercially-prepared nuggets aren't what I'd call good for you. So, I made these for the little guy. And, he loves them.

I like to serve these on Arnold's Select's Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins which are only 100 calories but do a great job of sopping up the extra sauce.

These cookies are a hit with my kids and not overly sweet.
A weird tortilla i made out of anything i could find in my kitchen. Its delicious for healthy wonky food. I dont have a picture but trust me, at an arial view, it just looks like a quesadilla with goat cheese sprinkled on top.
